TORONTO – A call overturned on replay opened the door for a three-run inning Saturday afternoon as the Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-2 at Rogers Centre.
With the score tied 1-1 in the third inning, the Dodgers loaded the bases on two singles (one off the glove of Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson) and an error on second baseman Darwin Barney.
Adrian Gonzalez was batting against Jays knuckleballer R.A. Dickey when a pitch got away from catcher Josh Thole. Thole scrambled to retrieve the ball and threw to Dickey at home plate as Chase Utley tried to score from third.
