LOS ANGELES – The Pittsburgh Pirates got the better of a matchup between two teams headed to the playoffs, beating the Dodgers 4-3 Sunday afternoon for their second consecutive one-run win at Dodger Stadium.
The Pirates beat the Dodgers in five of their six head-to-head meetings – including a three-game sweep in Pittsburgh -- but would not have homefield advantage in any playoff rematch if they make the post-season as a wild card.
