Final: Brett Anderson leaves in fourth inning as Dodgers routed by Reds, 11-1

CINCINNATI – Brett Anderson couldn’t make it through four innings without another injury in his second start of the season. Things weren’t going very well before he left either as the Cincinnati Reds pounded the Dodgers 11-1 Saturday night in a game interrupted for over an hour by rain.

The Dodgers were outhit 18-3 in the loss, their third in a row. It is their first three-game losing streak since July 5-7. But the San Francisco Giants also lost Friday night, leaving the Dodgers just a half-game out of first place in the NL West.

Anderson returned from back surgery to make his first start of the season last Sunday.
