Fatigued Wood 'unlikely' to skip next start

NEW YORK -- Alex Wood is still scheduled to make his next start despite experiencing noticeable fatigue in his winning outing Thursday night in Atlanta, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Friday.

Roberts said it was still a possibility Wood could be skipped, depending on how the left-hander's post-start routine goes, as well as his normal between-starts bullpen session.

"It's a possibility [he is skipped]. It's unlikely," said Roberts. "Just seeing where he's at over the next couple of days and we'll know more. He's very aware that we're trying to be mindful of his -- and all of our starters' -- workload.
