With less than a month to go, the Drillers and Quakes are trying to stay on top while the OKC Dodgers and Loons see if they can put together one last run. The Rookie League teams are also trying to stay in their races for the playoffs.
Josh Sborz gave up a run and three hits as he pitched his team to a 3-1 win. He struck out six in six innings. Sborz has pitched better from the beginning of July though his strikeouts barely top his walk totals.
The Dodgers scored a run in both the seventh and eighth inning and came back to beat Salt Lake Bees (Angels) 3-2 on Tuesday.
