The Dodgers were taking batting practice under mostly gray skies Monday afternoon. Don Sutton looked up toward the San Gabriel Mountains, as he often has here, and drew an analogy that seemed timely and appropriate.
“If I said to you, ‘this is the weather for California’ u2011 this is one-365th of the weather for California,” said Sutton, the winningest pitcher in Dodgers history and now a broadcaster for the Atlanta Braves.
