Dodgers Zack Greinke wins Gold Glove, Cy Young finalist with Clayton Kershaw

As expected, Dodgers right-hander Zack Greinke and left-hander Clayton Kershaw were named finalists for the National League Cy Young Award on Tuesday, along with Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta.

The winner of what is expected to be a very close vote will be announced Nov. 18 on MLB Network.

Greinke and Kershaw are the first teammates to finish in the top three for the Cy Young Award since Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee in 2011. It is the third time the Dodgers have had two pitchers in the top three. Mike Marshall and Andy Messersmith finished 1-2 in 1974, and Don Newcombe and Sal Maglie also finished 1-2 in the award's first year (1956).
