The Los Angeles Dodgers are going back to the World Series.
For the 22nd time in franchise history — and fourth time in the last eight years — the Dodgers have won the National League pennant.
The Dodgers beat the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series in six games, clinching the series with a 10-5 Game 6 win at Dodger Stadium. With the win, the Dodgers will officially meet the New York Yankees in this year’s World Series.
The Mets struck first in a bullpen game against Michael Kopech, plating one in the top of the first inning on a bad throw from Chris Taylor at second base.
