The voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers will be staying home for the playoffs.
According to Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated, Davis and John Smoltz will be announcing the highly-anticipated Dodgers and San Diego Padres National League Division Series that begins Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
Calling the other National League series will be Adam Amin on play-by-play duties with A.J. Pierzynski and Adam Wainwright providing color commentary.
Davis took on the massive responsibility in 2016 when the Dodgers named him the play-by-play broadcaster for road games, positioning him as the successor to the legendary Vin Scully.
