The popcorn is popping and the Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly ready to bring a blockbuster trade to town.
According to USA Today baseball insider Bob Nightengale, the Dodgers “have spoken to the White Sox about a blockbuster that would include Crochet, center fielder Luis Robert, and perhaps reliever Michael Kopech, too.”
Crochet is in the middle of a breakout season on the south side of Chicago. He has reportedly been the Dodgers’ No. 1 trade deadline target for quite some time and the club really wants to bring him to Los Angeles.
A report from ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez on Saturday said the Dodgers want him whether he is a starter or a reliever for the rest of the season.
