The Los Angeles Dodgers finally united with left-handed reliever Tanner Scott. The Dodgers attempted to trade for Scott at the deadline but ultimately decided he was too expensive.
A few days after landing another Japanese-born superstar pitcher Roki Sasaki, Los Angeles signed Scott to a four-year, $72 million deal. The 2024 National League All-Star’s contract is much larger than a typical contract the Dodgers would offer a free agent reliever.

Scott went head-to-head with the Dodgers in this year’s NL Division Series.
