Dodgers Week 19: To the extremes

The Dodgers had an odd week, on one hand setting the record for most runs scored at Dodger Stadium, then two nights later suffering their worst shutout loss in Chavez Ravine history.

That’s how, despite a 21-5 win, the Dodgers ended the week scoring the same around of runs as they allowed, and dropped four of seven games. They finished their 17-game stretch out of the All-Star break — all against contending teams — at 9-8.

After splitting four with the Brewers and dropping two of three to their old World Series foes, the Astros, the Dodgers end their week tied atop the NL West with Arizona, with a two-game lead over Colorado.
