The Dodgers pulled to within two games of the Arizona Diamondbacks by completing a two-game sweep of the Texas Rangers. After failing to win the game in the ninth inning after Austin Barnes hit into a double play, Barnes had better luck in the eleventh inning due to a botched throw by Rangers reliever Matt Bush. Justin Turner showed signs of life at the plate by blasting a solo home run in the first inning off Cole Hamels. The Dodgers will look to keep the momentum going on Friday against the Giants after a well needed off day today.
