In typical Coors Field fashion, the Dodgers snuck out a four-run victory Thursday night against the Rockies. The game was tied entering the ninth inning but then the Dodgers scored four runs on a go-ahead base hit by Chris Taylor. Then Enrique Hernandez followed with a three-run home run that gave the Dodgers all the insurance runs they would need.
For Chris Taylor, he continued a red hot stretch of games ever since Corey Seager went down with another hamstring injury. In his last fifteen games, CT3 is hitting .429 with a .755 slugging percentage. One Seager and Pollock return after the all-star break, it will be interesting to see if Taylor pushes for more starts at second base.
