Freddie Freeman and his family appear to be enjoying life as part of the Dodgers family. After spending the first 12 years of his big league career in Atlanta, the Orange County native inked a deal to play closer to home. The decision has payed dividends both on the field, and off the field for the Freemans.
On Wednesday night, Freddie’s oldest son Charlie got to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Dodgers final game of their five-game homestand. It also just so happened to be Freddie’s bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium.
To make the moment even better, none other than Freddie himself was behind home plate to receive the pitch.
