Dodgers Waste Noah Syndergaard’s Strong Debut, Offense Not Getting It Done, Shaky Bazooka & More

The Dodgers split the series with the Diamondbacks and enter play on Monday in a four way tie for first place in the NL West. Sunday’s game was a snoozefest for the LA offense which left 7 runners on base. The only run scored on a first inning home run by Will Smith.

Noah Syndergaard got his first start as a Dodger and pitched well, allowing just one run on 4 hits over 6+ innings. The bullpen was shaky, particularly Brusdar Graterol, who was tagged with the loss after allowing a run in the top of the 9th.
