What would Ronald Reagan have done?
Cheering on the Dodgers in the National League Divisional Series would seem to be a natural for California’s 33rd governor. With his career in Hollywood movies and TV, a neighbor of Vin Scully’s for a long time in the Pacific Palisades, Dutch’s final resting spot is about an hour east of Dodger Stadium in Simi Valley.
But why wouldn’t our country’s 40th president also show some loyalty for the Washington Nationals, who play just 15 minutes across the Potomac from Ronald Reagan National Airport? He was alive to see the long droughts of the former big-league baseball tries in our nation’s capital via the Washington Senators (1901-60, before moving to Minnesota; 1961-71 before moving to Texas).
