This week marks another head-to-head matchup between two of baseball’s most storied franchises, the Dodgers and the Cubs. With more than 2,000 games played against one another over the last century-plus, there is more than enough history between the clubs for sure. But, somewhat surprisingly, the biggest moments have come more recently.
Still, Brooklyn/Los Angeles holds a 13 game advantage over Chicago with 1,056 wins to the Cubbies’ 1,043 (since 1890). That’s a whole lot of baseball.
