After taking the first game of the four-game series in Milwaukee, the Dodgers are back at American Family Field to try to make it two in a row agains the Brewers. Los Angeles boasts an MLB-best 80-34 record and hold a 17-game lead in the NL West. The Brewers, in second place in the NL Central, are 61-53.
The Dodgers will send rookie Ryan Pepiot to the mound today for his sixth start of the season. Pepiot is 1-0 with a 3.92 ERA, coming off a start in which he was bit by the longball. A three-run homer by Jorge Polanco and a solo shot by Gary Sanchez led to an early exit in Pepiot’s last start, but his offense bailed him out in a comeback win over the Twins.
