The Los Angeles Dodgers continued to swing hot bats Monday night as they extended their winning streak to four games and now are in position to take a series from the Oakland Athletics.
Clayton Kershaw is back on the mound and looks to rebound from a subpar Opening Day start. He managed just two strikeouts over 5.2 innings and allowed six runs (five earned) on 10 hits over 5.2 innings against the Colorado Rockies.
The Rockies didn’t collect any extra-base hits off Kershaw and several times benefited from soft contact and finding holes. However, he only induced five swings and misses.
