The Los Angeles Dodgers haven’t yet been able to play a regular-season game this year, but Dodger Stadium has still been utilized for an array of other activities.
One of which saw rock legend John Fogerty recently celebrate his 75th birthday by performing his 1985 hit song, “Centerfield,” from that location at Chavez Ravine. “It took 75 years and it’s a little different than I envisioned,” Fogerty wrote in a caption accompanying a video post to his Facebook page.
Fogerty is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in rock history, known for creating the soundtrack of a generation.
