Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow was ruled as “highly unlikely” to return this season after MRI scans revealed he had sustained a sprained elbow earlier this week. The Dodgers placed Glasnow on the injured list on Aug. 16 with elbow tendinitis, but the team initially held hope the right-hander could return in time for the postseason.
Instead, Glasnow will more than likely sit out another postseason run, as recurring injuries continue to derail him from pitching a full season and into the season. Glasnow has regularly dealt with injuries and is currently on the IL for the second time this season.
