Dodgers’ Tyler Glasnow Didn’t Want to Head to IL But Understands Cautious Approach

Tyler Glasnow insisted he tell the Los Angeles Dodgers about his sore elbow after his workout on Wednesday.

He knew with that soreness, he wouldn’t be able to give the team 100 percent during his scheduled start against the St. Louis Cardinals.

His transparency forced the team to make a move sending him to the 15-day injured list. While he was frustrated, he is in Los Angeles long term after signing a five-year, $136.5-million deal with the club in December.
