The Dodgers came into Washington DC on Monday night off of a rollercoaster weekend. They took a pair of games from the Phillies and looked primed for a series sweep. But an error in the 10th inning by Max Muncy cost them the game in just about the worst way you can imagine.
The way things have been going, the Dodgers needed a strong outing from Tyler Anderson. Their starting staff is incredibly taxed, and the bullpen has been relied upon heavily as well. So getting in at least 6 innings seemed like a good goal for Anderson.
