The scoreless innings streak remains intact. With the Dodgers facing off against the Mets on Friday evening, Tyler Anderson came out and continued to do what he does best. He shut them down and rolled right past New York, just as he has most of the season.
Anderson tossed 6 shutout frames against the Mets with very little traffic. He gave up 3 base hits and did not walk a single batter. Anderson also punched out 5 Mets batters before the Dodgers went to the bullpen in the 7th inning.
That brings his consecutive scoreless innings streak to 26 now.
