Not a whole lot went right for the Dodgers this week. With the Pirates in town, no one expected them to lose the series. Even fewer expected that Pittsburgh would walk all over them for all 3 games. But that’s exactly what happened on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
But if there was one good thing to come from it all, it’s that Trea Turner’s hit streak is still intact. The Dodgers shortstop doubled last night against Jose Quintana to increase it to 24 games, the longest since his 27-game streak earlier this season.
Trea had that streak snapped against the Cincinnati Reds on April 17th.
