Not a lot went right for the Dodgers on Friday night. In a game where they had every opportunity to pull away from the Angels, the Los Angeles bats went dead silent during the first 9 innings of the game.
That eventually resulted in yet another extra-innings loss for the Dodgers, their 12th of the year. But fans out at Chavez Ravine did have at least one thing to cheer about. Late in the game, Trea Turner made his debut in a pinch-hit role.
Turner launched the first pitch that he saw deep into foul territory and had fans immediately fired up.
