Dodgers: Trea Turner All But Confirms Philly Signing Came Down to Wife’s Preference to be on East Coast

It was no secret that Trea Turner was interested in playing for an East Coast team and sure enough, it happened. Last Monday, the 29-year-old signed an 11-year $300 million contract to play for the Philadelphia Phillies.

But it wasn’t until recently that he confirmed why he wanted to move out East. In his Introductory Press Conference with the Phillies, he shared with the media what drove him to sign with the Phillies amongst all the other teams in the running.
