The bad news continues to reign down for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dodgers star infielder and slugger Max Muncy has been placed on the 60-day IL due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain.
Dodgers Nation Doug Mckain, as well as Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, shared via Twitter/X.
The Dodgers activated Kyle Hurt from the 60-day IL and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.
Muncy was initially placed on the 10-day IL due to the oblique strain on May 17. The injury didn’t seem like a big deal then; however, the recovery process has been slower than expected.
