With the Los Angeles Dodgers among the teams in search of pitching at the MLB trade deadline, they have most prominently been linked to Minnesota Twins starter José Berríos and Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer.
There have been conflicting reports on the Dodgers’ potential interest in the Kansas City Royals’ Danny Duffy, who is on the 10-day injured list with a left flexor strain for a second time this season. L.A. also was said to have interest in Texas Rangers closer Ian Kennedy.
With a pressing need for a starter to bolster their rotation, much of the attention of late has gone to the Dodgers possibly coming to an agreement to acquire Scherzer.
