With trade activity sure to increase over the next month and throughout July, the Los Angeles Dodgers have seemingly gotten a head start by making minor moves in recent weeks.
Last Sunday, the Dodgers traded Darnell Sweeney to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for future considerations. Prior to that, Los Angeles claimed Mike Freeman and Chris Heston off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
Now, the Dodgers have traded for left-handed pitcher Jason Wheeler, according to LaVelle E. Neal III of the Star Tribune:
