LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers on Tuesday traded pitcher Chris Hatcher to the Athletics for international amateur bonus pool space, and activated corner man Rob Segedin from the 60-day disabled list.
The move bolsters the Dodgers bench, after playing Sunday with just three players in reserve in the series finale against the Padres. The club is now carrying 13 pitchers instead of the 14 they had on the roster on Sunday.
Segedin during his rehab assignment was 10-for-30 (.333) with three doubles and two walks in eight games in Triple-A.
