Dodgers: Tony Gonsolin Needs to Be the All-Star Game Starter

Tony Gonsolin is undefeated across his first 15 starts of the season. Even though the Dodgers offense tried their best to hand him his first loss in Atlanta, Gonsolin is now 10-0 after taking down the Padres on Friday night. And he’s pitching out of his mind this year.

But Tony was absolutely lights out against the Padres last night. So much so that despite his career-high in innings pitched already being set, Dave Roberts sent him out to pitch the 8th inning. He finished with 7.2 innings of work on 92 pitches and allowed just 1 earned run.
