Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin is set to make his second rehab start in his return from Tommy John surgery on Sunday for Triple-A Oklahoma City, via Bill Plunkett of the OC Register.
Gonsolin made his first rehab start back on Sep 10. In the start, Gonsolin pitched two innings and allowed three hits, no earned runs, and no walks while striking out three. It was an encouraging return for the 30-year-old pitcher, who has been out for the entire season as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.
Gonsolin underwent surgery in 2023 after arm issues and forearm inflammation affected him throughout the season.
