Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told MLB Network Radio that Mookie Betts will likely be out this entire weekend in Washington with his foot injury. Betts fouled a ball off his foot on Thursday, and ending up leaving loanDepot Park on crutches.
Roberts added that Betts will undergo a CT scan which will determine the next steps, but mentioned that he’s “really sore” right now.
Roberts did add that he expects Betts to be ready to go by Monday, but obviously the scan will determine if that’s a possibility. Either way, this is a big scare for the Dodgers, who can’t afford to be without their MVP and leadoff hitter.
