We are still months away from the official release of the 2016 MLB schedule, but we already know the Dodgers next year will play the American League East in interleague play. We also now know that one series will be at Fenway Park, per Gordon Edes of ESPN.com.
The Dodgers will make a trip to Boston to play the Red Sox for a weekend series on Aug. 5-7, 2016, per Edes.
Under the current interleague play system, every team plays 20 interleague games per season, rotating so that each team plays one division every three years.
