In tonight’s pregame festivities, the Los Angeles Dodgers will honor two past World Series championship teams: the 1955 club, who won the first – and sadly, only – World Series Championship for Brooklyn, and the 1965 World Series Champions. As a bonus, the Dodgers old-timers will play a game at 4 p.m.
Five members of the 1955 team will be present – Sandy Koufax, Tommy Lasorda, Don Newcombe, Ed Roebuck and Roger Craig.
Out of respect to his contribution to the championship, I will politely clap for Roger Craig, but a part of me will also be giving a hearty BOOOO!
