The Dodgers are calling up Hunter Feduccia from Triple-A Oklahoma City, according to multiple reports Saturday out of Houston.
The Dodgers played a man short Friday, when Freddie Freeman was a late scratch and returned to Los Angeles to be with his family. Freeman is not expected back this weekend, manager Dave Roberts told reporters in Houston.
Given the nature of Freeman’s absence — his son is battling an illness — the Dodgers could place Freeman on the restricted list to open a roster spot for Feduccia while he’s away.
