Teoscar Hernández informed reporters last week that the Dodgers have not engaged in any in-season extension talks with him, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic.
Hernández appears unfazed by the absence of discussions, stating that he’s concentrating on the current season and hasn’t spent much time thinking about free agency.
Hernández has enjoyed a strong rebound on a one-year contract, smashing a career-high 33 home runs across 652 plate appearances. His .272/.339/.501 slash line with Los Angeles reflects the performance he had during his best years with the Toronto Blue Jays.
