Dodgers Tell Jim Johnson To Go Home

The Dodgers acquired Jim Johnson in July from Atlanta in the complicated three-team trade that sent Luis Avilan, Jose Peraza, and Alex Wood to Los Angeles. The Dodgers also got Mat Latos, and Mike Morse from the Marlins as well. Johnson was supposed to bolster their middle relief corp. Instead he turned in one of the most horrific performances ever seen by a pitcher traded to the Dodgers, or any team for that matter.

So on Wednesday afternoon the Dodgers told him to go home.
