Coming off of a series loss to the Phillies, the Dodgers really needed to do well against the Diamondbacks. They also need to do much better at beating bad teams, especially following series losses to two teams under the .500 mark. Both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh took series wins from Los Angles over the past week.
But the Dodgers came out strong against Arizona, earning a win on Monday night and back-to-back wins in the doubleheader on Tuesday. They sent out Walker Buehler on Wednesday afternoon to try and earn them the series sweep.
Buehler tossed 5 innings and gave up 2 earned runs in the outing.
