The Los Angeles Dodgers jumped on the Colorado Rockies early and pulled away in the middle innings to cruise to a 12-5 blowout at Salt River Fields, completing a Cactus League sweep of their National League West counterparts this spring.
The Dodgers outscored the Rockies 22-5 in their two meetings this year. It could be an indication of what’s to come during the regular season, starting Opening Day when the teams begin a four-game series at Coors Field.
Like he has been all spring, Corey Seager was heavily involved. He singled in the first inning and came around to score on Justin Turner’s triple.
