While the Los Angeles Dodgers have graduated multiple prospects over recent seasons, this spring presented an opportunity for the organization to get a look at the next wave of young talent rising through the farm system.
Within that is outfield prospect DJ Peters, who is in his first career big league camp. Having already impressed with his work ethic behind the scenes, Peters was in the spotlight late in Friday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
After the Dodgers bullpen blew a lead in a second consecutive game, Peters crushed a go-ahead two-run home run to center field in the eighth inning.
