While the Houston Astros remain under a microscope because of Major League Baseball’s findings and their missteps since punishments were levied, the spotlight may soon shift to the Boston Red Sox as they are the subject of electronic sign stealing.
Boston has already felt the ramifications of the Astros’ misconduct as they parted with manager Alex Cora. He of course was bench coach for Houston during their 2017 championship season and named by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred as a key figure in the sign-stealing scheme.
Although the Red Sox face similar allegations, they have maintained there was not a similar method carried out under Cora in their World Series season.
