The Dodgers are going to need any depth that they can get at this point. With the injuries that have come by the dozen, picking up potential arms has been at the top of the list for Andrew Friedman and his team.
Los Angeles added to that depth this month when they signed RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx to a minor league deal. Bibens-Dirkx has bounced around a bit in his career, but this is the first time he will be with the Dodgers.
Drafted by the Mariners back in 2006, Bibens-Dirkx has spent some time in the Independent League as well as the Atlantic League.
