The Dodgers will head into Spring Training with more weapons in their lineup than ever before. Highlighted by Mookie Betts in the outfield, Los Angeles’ roster is full of potential competition for key spots.
One of the biggest battles for spots on the team will be as a bench player. The Dodgers signed another option there today, scooping up Matt Davidson on a minor league deal. That deal was reported earlier today by Mark Feinsand.

Davidson was the 35th overall pick of the draft in 2009 and became a potential top prospect in the years following.
