The Dodgers are always very active within the community. That includes both individual players as well as the organization as a whole. So when the team announced it would be making a massive donation to organizations around Los Angeles, that came as no surprise.
The Dodgers announced on Friday that they would be giving out 80,000 tickets to these organizations. They will allow for underserved communities to give back, and kids that don’t normally get to go out to games will get the chance to.
More from the team on the community effort:
Throughout the year, the Dodgers will give away 20,000 tickets through Kids 4 Dodger Baseball, 24,600 tickets to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to be used in their Dodgers Dreamfields, Dodgers Dreamteam and LADF Gives program and 38,733 CCI tickets equaling the largest number of tickets ever given out during the regular season.
