Starting pitcher Walker Buehler won’t be returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers next season. Though many fans were in a fever dream after the news broke of Buehler signing a one-year deal with the Boston Red Sox, the Dodgers have officially said goodbye to the right-hander.
In a post to the team’s social media, the Dodgers thanked Buehler for the last seven seasons in Los Angeles.
“Thank you Walker for seven incredible seasons in Dodger blue,” the team said. “From Game 163 to closing out the 2024 World Series, your impact won’t be forgotten. Best of luck in Boston!
