LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers continued to hoard pitching depth continued on Sunday, as left-handed pitcher Ryan Dennick cleared waivers and was sent outright to Double-A Tulsa.
The Dodgers claimed Dennick off waivers from the Reds on Wednesday, but then designated him for assignment, removing him from the 40-man roster, on Friday to make room for another waiver claim from Cincinnati, right-handed pitcher Daniel Corcino.
Both pitchers were designated for assignment by Cincinnati on Monday, and both will join the Drillers.
With two previous posts this week, I have reached my quota for Dennick posts in one week, but just know this: Dennick was a college teammate of current Dodgers relief pitcher Adam Liberatore, who made his major league debut on Friday night.
