After going 3-2 on their road trip, the Los Angeles Dodgers open a seven-game homestand Friday for matchups against the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds.
While the Dodgers have admitted roughly 15,000 fans for each home game thus far and will continue doing so for the time being, changes are coming to Dodger Stadium. Most notably is the creation of fully-vaccinated sections for Saturday’s game against the Padres.
Such seats are in loge 166 and 168, where social distancing will not be required and fans will be seated directly next to other parties.
The two sections are reserved for fully vaccinated fans (at least two weeks have passed since receiving their final vaccine dose) and children between the ages of 2 and 15 who can provide proof of having tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19) within 72 hours of admission.
